Never did have much to say.

Kinda took after my father in that way.

Taciturn, some folks might label it.

Me, I always preferred reticent.

I dunno. Now that I've just looked up both definitions, I'm one in the same as are they.

Habitually silent. Disinclined to speak.

All those other voices always seemed so eager to drown me out anyway. Never was one to raise my voice. To interrupt. To tell people to shut the fuck up. And just for one damned minute enjoy a wordless silence.

Lately, I got even less to say.

This world has done worn me out. Taken away or in the process of taking away the people I most cherish.

Brother, thanks for saying nothing.
