How do we reconcile the beauty with the horror?

I love the placement of the woman, and her size is bigger than you usually use, and the color different, the effect is moving, in a different way
the more i look at this the more i love it. the background side of roads are particularly wonderful, i love her expression, glasses and apron.
A superb image here, Teaful, so full of character, of longing and maybe a suppressed rage. Is this what you call going out thrift shopping.
