crash landing

*

You just never know when the curtain will be torn asunder, and you are left gaping at the terrible truth of the world just as it is.

*

Namaste. May you be spared.

the thing that haunts me in this photo is the bridal veil, so ghostly, the destruction visible through it.

i suspect you have seen the terrible truth behind the curtain more times than most of us. i'm sorry. i wish it were different.

sending love.

Hey all-

Thank you, each of you and all of you, so very much.

I know you are here with me, and I know it matters, I can feel that it does.

Sometimes I can't say what's going on in any direct way, but I am grateful to all of you for your thoughts and well-wishes.

It does help.

we none of us wish to intrude on your privacy, scott, but we're here, each in our own way, and sometimes this quilted emphathy can offer a measure of solace beyond what we can muster alone. bless you, brother. we hold you in our arms.

Hello, dear Scott:

Do you know this Zen saying?

"If you understand, things are just as they are; if you do not understand, things are just as they are."

I don't know, I don't know, but I hear you and listen, dear Scott!

Jim-

What a pleasure to hear from you, brother! And thank you, it's good knowing you're there.

Mim-

I like that quote.

I like the way you see the world, too.
