my favorite so far. it's in the contrast- the stand-off between darkness and gladness, murkiness and color. it's despair and hope, and the tension of an awareness of balance-- an observed one between the two, each knowing both are needed for the whole picture.

You really picked up on the duality here, how you can't have the experience of one thing without knowledge of its 'opposite/twin'....it is the kind of self-evident thing that I find I have to learn and experience over and over again. Each time I think I've learned the lesson, I find that there is always a deeper level of understanding available to me....if I seek it.
